Craken Edge and Chinley Churn: Painting

I drive past Chinely Churn and Craken Edge everyday my grandsons school is opposite. My Son does like to go walking upto Craken Edge in particular, he seems to have a particular affinity with it.

The Chimney to the right is now no longer there it was sited by the Peak Forest Tramway which is now a trail you can walk. The forge originally sited there became the bleach works were many local people worked. The site was finally closed in 2005.
