Wormhill is a village in the High Peak Derbyshire. St Mary’s Church is just off the main road. I just love going there especially in February to see the snow drops. I tend to pop into Wormhill just to go walking round the grave yard. It’s a beautiful place and a quiet sanctuary. I notice something different every time I go.

I took this photograph from the porch of the Church looking out onto the grave yard, the sun was low, a typical late autum day. The grass and leaves were wet with the mornings’ rain, which meant I now know my new shoes aren’t waterproof! Note to self: Take Wellies next time.
