Watercolour Painting: Combs Reservoir

I was out visiting a fellow artist in Tungstead Milton and stopped at a layby on the edge of Combs Reservoir. The snow that I had been out in, a few days earlier, was melting in the winter sun and leaving the dry stone walls bare. In the lea of the walls the thicker snow contrasted beautifully with the fields and walls. Together with the skeltal trees against the skyline and the reflections in the reservoir it was just a magical image I just had to paint.
